Our Design Process

Creating a website for your business does not have to be stressful, we work hard to ensure that we make the process as easy as possible for you.  Below is an overview of our design process.

 

1. Contract Review and Submission
Once we have reviewed and determined which design package works best for you, we will prepare a design contract and email it to you via EchoSign.  Once you review the contract you can then sign and submit the contract via EchoSign.

 

2. Basecamp
Communication is Key to the success of any project and although we love emails ;) we can not always keep track of every email and sometimes that evil little email monster eats the emails and we can not find them!  We have selected to use a project management system called Basecamp to manage all of our projects.  This allows for all communication to be tracked, you can see what we are up to on your project, what stage the project is in and we can easily share files as well.  We will provide you with a username and password for your new Basecamp Account and you will have access to your project 24/7.

 

3. Payment
A 50% deposit is required prior to the start of any project.  We will send you an invoice via email through our secure online payment process system.  You can make your deposit via debit or credit card, electronic check or even paypal just let us know how you prefer to pay.  Everything is done online so we can start your project right away!

 

4. Design Mock Ups
We will provide you with an questionnaire based on your design packages/service requested.   This allows us to get to know you and your business even better and gives us an insight into your style and needs.  Once you have completed and returned the questionnaire, we will provide your initial mockups within 7-10 days.  If you have selected a complete boutique web design package we will provide you with the logo design first as this is the start of the site design and sets the tone.

 

5. Review of Mockup and Edits
After you receive your mockups, this is the time for you to review and let us know what changes need to be made.  We will then make any changes requested, normally you will receive a new mock up with 3-4 days.

 

6. Next Payment & Development
Once you have approved your mockup, we will email you an invoice for a 25% payment on the remaining balance and will then send your design over for development.  Normally this will take 2-4 days depending on the type of site.  Larger sites on Magento can take 7-10 days for development.

 

7. Review of Design
Once your site is online, we will ask that you review it and let us know if there are any changes to be made.

 

8. Product and Information Entry
If you have selected for us to uploaded your products and content, this is the time when we will complete that for you.  You will need to supply us with pricing, photos and description or links to the sites that the products are located at.

 

9. Final Payment and Review
It’s time to take a final review of your website and once we get the green light we will then invoice you the remaining 25% balance and schedule your webinar training!
