We have filled our home with beautiful and very fragrant spring flowers and even though today it’s a chilly 36 the sun is still shining and I can smell spring through my flowers.

People ask me all the time about colors when we start working on their design products.  It can be really hard to nail down just the right colors for your business identity and/or website.  I use alot of sites to help with matching colors up and just found a new favorite.  I thought I would share some of the colors of spring with you all.

Per Google’s Press Release “Our goal is simple: to give people the most relevant answers to their queries as quickly as possible.  This requires constant turning of our algorithms, as new content – both good and bad comes online all the time”.

The recent update will impact 11.8% of queries and is designed to reduce the rankings for low-quality sites, sites which are low-value add for users, copy content from other websites or sites.  At the same time, it will increase the ranking of sites that provide high-quality.

So what does this mean for you?  It might be time to check out the content of your site, make sure it’s relevant to your business and quality content that your users will want to read.  If you noticed a decrease in your rankings then it’s time to review.  If you have noticed an increase than keep up the great work you are doing.

What else does this mean for you?  When you are searching out a site, maybe we will not be clicking on so many sites that are nothing but ads and links to other sites .
